Supported formats

Every extension EveryMark loads, and every field you can edit once it's loaded.

Images

Standard formats plus twenty-two RAW types across seventeen manufacturers.

Common

RAW

.cr2.cr3.nef.nrw .arw.sr2.raf.orf .rw2.pef.srw.x3f .erf.3fr.mef.mos .mrw.rwl.kdc.dcr .iiq.dng

Covering Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Samsung, Sigma, Epson, Hasselblad, Mamiya, Leaf, Minolta, Leica, Kodak, and Phase One. RAW files display their embedded preview rather than being decoded, so browsing a card of them stays fast.

Video

.mp4.mov.mkv.m4v .avi.wmv.flv.webm .mpg.mpeg

How many tags a video accepts depends on its container — MP4 and MOV carry considerably more than AVI. Fields a container cannot store are shown read-only rather than offered and then silently dropped.

Audio

Lossless

.flac.wav.wave.aiff .aif.ape.alac.wv .tta.dsd.dsf.dff

Lossy

.mp3.aac.m4a.m4b .m4p.ogg.oga.opus .mpc.mp2.wma.ra.ram

Module / tracker

.mod.it.s3m.xm
Editing does not re-encode

Tags are written in place. A FLAC stays bit-identical in its audio stream, a RAW file stays a RAW file, and no image is ever recompressed. Only the metadata region of the file changes.

These describe the audio data itself and can't be edited — changing the number would only make the file lie about what it contains.

Everything else

The fields above are the editable set — a deliberate list, so a stray click can't write something exotic into a file. Reading is not limited that way: every EXIF, IPTC, XMP, and ID3 tag ExifTool can extract is displayed, grouped into Basic Info, Camera, Dates, Location, Audio, and Advanced, with a raw JSON view for the complete dump.

Missing a format?

If ExifTool supports it and EveryMark doesn't list it, that's a gap worth telling us about — it's usually a matter of adding the extension. Beta feedback is the fastest route.
